Where we deliver across North Jersey

Our yard sits on 53 Clifton Blvd, a short run from the rest of Clifton. That location decides the shape of our day: Clifton's closest neighbors — Passaic, Paterson, Little Falls and Woodland Park, all in Passaic County — are usually same-day, and the Bergen and Essex County communities a little farther out — Elmwood Park, Garfield, Lyndhurst, Rutherford, Bloomfield, Montclair and Nutley — are typically same- or next-day depending on how far out the address sits. We would rather tell you that plainly than promise a container by lunchtime and leave you waiting.

Every one of these eleven communities is a genuine New Jersey municipality with its own home-rule government — a mix of City, Township and Borough forms, never one flat government type the way some states run it. On top of that municipal layer, New Jersey also has a real county layer: Passaic, Bergen and Essex Counties each run their own engineering department for county routes, distinct from a town's own streets, with NJDOT covering state highways like Routes 3, 46, 19 and 21. Each community page below names the right kind of office to start with for a street or right-of-way permit, along with the access, housing stock and local landmarks we actually run into there.

Service area questions

Which towns do you deliver dumpsters to?

All 11 communities from our Clifton yard: Clifton itself, plus the real Passaic County communities of Passaic, Paterson, Little Falls and Woodland Park; the Bergen County communities of Elmwood Park, Garfield, Lyndhurst and Rutherford; and the Essex County townships of Bloomfield, Montclair and Nutley. Clifton and its closest neighbors are the quickest, and farther towns are usually next-day.

Does it cost more to deliver farther from the yard?

Distance is a real cost, so a delivery to a farther town is not priced the same as one in Clifton. What we will not do is hide it. You get the full number on the phone before anything is booked, and it does not change afterwards unless the load goes over the tonnage allowance you agreed to.

Who do I need a permit from if the container sits in the street?

It depends on the street. Each of the 11 communities we serve is its own home-rule municipality — a mix of City, Township and Borough governments across Passaic, Bergen and Essex Counties — and each one permits its own municipal streets through its own clerk or public works office. If the container needs to sit on a county route instead of a town street, that town's own county engineering department is usually the right office to call, and a placement touching a state highway falls under NJDOT. A container kept entirely on your own driveway or private lot typically does not need a permit anywhere on this list, but always confirm current requirements with the relevant office before placement.

How far in advance should I book?

After a nor'easter, a heavy wet-snow storm, or Passaic River-basin flooding, and during the busiest stretch of the spring cleanout and summer renovation season, book as early as you can. Outside those windows you can usually get a container within a day or two. Active construction sites book out fastest, so plan ahead if you are working on one.

Can you deliver if I am not on the property?

Yes, and it happens constantly with rental properties and job sites where the owner is not on site. Mark the spot with a cone, a stake or a chalk line, tell us about gate codes and any steep or narrow access, and stay reachable by phone. The driver will call before setting the container down if anything looks wrong.

Do you serve areas outside your listed towns?

Call and ask. Our published service area covers the 11 communities listed on this page, from Clifton through the surrounding Passaic, Bergen and Essex County towns on our list. If your address is close to that footprint but not listed, call and ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you or whether you are better served by someone closer.
